Descripción de una nueva especie de Anthaxia Eschscholtz, 1829 de la Península Ibérica, Anthaxia (Anthaxia) simonae n. sp. (Coleoptera: Buprestidae)
En éste articulo describimos una nueva especie perteneciente al género Anthaxia Eschscholtz, 1829 Anthaxia (Anthaxia) simonae n. sp. procedente de la provincia andaluza de Almería, España. Después de un amplio estudio comparado se establece que el taxón más próximo es Anthaxia (Anthaxia) sedilloti sedilloti Abeille de Perrin, 1893, de Marruecos, Argelia, Libia y Túnez. La nueva especie se desarrolla sobre Genista spartioides Spach (Leguminosae). Como parasitoide de la nueva especie señalamos al Eupelmidae Calosotinae (Hymenoptera) Pentacladia elegans Westwood, 1835
In this paper we describe Anthaxia (Anthaxia) simonae n. sp., a new species from the Andalusian province of Almeria, Spain, belonging to the genus Anthaxia Eschscholtz, 1829. After an extensive comparative study it is established that the nearest taxon is Anthaxia (Anthaxia) sedilloti sedilloti Abeille de Perrin, 1893, from Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. The new species develops on Genista spartioides Spach (Leguminosae). We quote the Eupelmidae Calosotinae (Hymenoptera) Pentacladia elegans Westwood, 1835 as parasitoid of the new species.
