The project

REDIB is an aggregation platform for electronic-format scientific and academic content produced in the Ibero-American space, granting its users direct access to scientific and academic documents of proven quality, published by publishers and other producers of scientific and academic content in Ibero-American countries and languages or on topics related to Ibero-America.

REDIB wishes to stand out for its philosophy of cooperative work: access to content in its original place of production, voluntary collaboration of publishers and transparency throughout the communication process between the user and the producer of the information. REDIB seeks to stimulate technological innovation to locate, disseminate and manage scientific information and to generate links between publishers and other producers of academic content, authors and users.

REDIB has a clear vocation for promoting technological innovation in publishing production tools which facilitate the access, dissemination and enhancement of scientific production generated in the countries of its area of action. The recipients of this information are the publishing, research and academic communities. It is also intender for the wider public, in addition to scientific policy makers, managers and analysts.
