El artículo tiene como objetivo principal presentar una lectura del cuento de Julio Cortázar Distante  espejo motivada  por  el  interés  de  explicar  y  comprender  la manifestación de lo inconsciente en el personaje principal del cuento: un profesor,aunado a una interpretación del fenómeno fantástico a partir del acercamiento a lo inconsciente en el profesor .Palabras clave:realidad, experiencia estética, cuento, ser humano, rechazo, resignificación.Abstract:The main objective of this article is to present a reading of Julio Cortázar’s short story “Distante espejo” [Distant Mirror], motivated by an interest in explaining and comprehending the manifestation of the unconscious in the main character of thestory: a professor .
