In addition to research involving human subjects, GGA also considers for publication translational research and experimental studies focusing on cellular and molecular aging processes, studies in animal models, genetic analyses, as well as economic and public policy assessments. GGA’s mission is to publish research conforming to international standards that contributes, directly or indirectly, to the promotion of knowledge in the field of human aging and to improvements in the practice of geriatrics and gerontology.
