| Resumen: | The experience acquired in the library system of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua is described during the design and validation of a plan of evaluation starting with the employment of a model of participative work. The model is proposed is sustained on the revision of the supported literature of the works which is related to the theme of evaluation which pertains to the mexican university libraries, as well as the general principles of the metaevalution and the evaluation. The work concludes analyzing the condition that lead to develop library evaluation through participation and by identifing the differents challenges which the professional of information face when they are developing nonconventional evaluatory processes. |

| Resumen traducido: | Se describe la experiencia obtenida en el sistema de bibliotecas de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua durante el diseño y validación de un plan de evaluación a partir del empleo de un modelo de trabajo participativo. El modelo propuesto es sustentado en una revisión de la literatura de los trabajos relacionados al tema de la evaluación de las bibliotecas universitarias en México, así como los principios generales de la metaevaluación y evaluación. El trabajo concluye analizando las condiciones que propician desarrollar evaluaciones bibliotecarias a través de la participación e identifica los retos que debe enfrentar el profesional de la in-formación al desarrollar procesos evaluatorios no convencionales. |
