Abstract: The article presents a sociological analysis of intercultural issues in the Latin American context, to stop in the Peruvian case. Peru is a country whose historical background leads us to identify a type of discrimination that stigma in an effective way belittle indigenous organizations, and in general to the many different cultural expressions. These asymmetries divided Peruvian society even in the geographical aspect, structuring more strongly unfair segregation by the State. These tensions become in urgent solutions to the plural identity liberties are the foundation of social democracy in the state.
Translated abstract: El artículo plantea un análisis sociológico de la problemática intercultural en el contexto latinoamericano, para detenerse en el caso peruano. El Perú es un país cuyos antecedentes históricos nos llevan a identificar un tipo de discriminación, que encuentra en la estigmatización un modo eficaz para menospreciar las organizaciones indígenas y, en general, a las expresiones culturales diversas y diferentes. Estas tensiones devienen en urgentes soluciones, a fin que las libertades plurales identitarias sean la base de la democracia social del Estado.
