Abstract: El mito del Prometeo de Plat贸n con sus dos personajes聽centrales: Epimeteo (quien reviste de facultades a todas聽las especies diferentes a la humana) y Prometeo (quien聽facilita el fuego y las artes a los humanos, se rebela contra聽Zeus y es encadenado), sirven de pretexto a una reflexi贸n聽insinuante que se presenta a los educadores como una聽disyuntiva de actuaci贸n.Dilema que se desarrolla en dos escenarios intangibles,聽pero reales: la zona de confort, en donde habitan los聽saberes concebidos por occidente y Europa, que son聽vistos como 煤nicos, totalitarios y verdaderos, los cuales聽fielmente y sin reflexi贸n deposita el educador Epimeteo聽en sus educandos; la otra zona es la de p谩nico, para otros聽de oportunidades, aqu铆 no hay saber o ignorancia total, los聽saberes mal llamados primitivos o emp铆ricos se visibilizan, es聽la zona a la cual el educador Prometeo, aprovechando las聽bondades de la negociaci贸n como estrategia pedag贸gica, 聽invita a sus educandos, inici谩ndoles a caminar por senderos聽de interculturalidad.Esta reflexi贸n es una invitaci贸n a los educadores para superar los temores de convertirse en Prometeo, de聽abandonar la zona de confort en la que habita Epimeteo, a descolonizar la escuela e invitar al educando a que acepte y genere nuevas formar de pensar y habitar el mundo.
Translated abstract: The myth of Prometheus Plato with his two main characters: Epimetheus (who invested with abilities to all different species than human) and Prometheus (who facilitates the fire and the arts to humans rebels against Zeus and is chained), a pretext to an insinuating reflection that is presented to educators as a disjunctive of action.Dilemma that is developed in two intangibles scenarios, but real: the comfort zone, where they inhabit knowledge conceived by the West and Europe, which are seen as unique, totalitarian and true, which faithfully and without reflection Epimetheus鈥 educator deposited in his students; the other zone is the panic, for other opportunities, here there is no knowledge or complete ignorance, so-called primitive or empirical knowledge become visible, is the zone to which Prometheus educator, taking advantage of the benefits of negotiation as a pedagogical strategy, invites his students to walk in interculturalities paths.This reflection invites educators to overcome those fears of becoming Prometheus, to abandon that comfort zone where Epimetheus lives, to decolonize the school and invite the student to accept and produce new ways of thinking and inhabit the world.
